摘要

黏合剂的性能对档案纸张修复质量及其保存寿命具有直接而长远的影响。探讨不同类型黏合剂的修复适宜性和长效稳定性,有助于深入了解黏合剂在保存中可能存在的问题,在保护实践中探索性能优异的黏合剂。本研究基于纸质档案保护实践中常用的5种黏合剂,以档案修复原则为评判要求,对其干预程度、耐老化性能、可逆性进行综合评估。试验结果表明,与压敏胶粘剂及固体胶水相比,小麦淀粉糨糊未改变档案纸张原有形貌、颜色及酸碱度,在老化试验中呈现出较好的稳定性,且在闷润后较容易剥离,被证实为最适用于档案纸张修复的黏合剂,为档案纸张修复材料的选择及黏合剂的去除问题提供了重要参照。

Abstract

The performance of an adhesive has a direct and long-term impact on the repair quality and storage longevity of paper archive. Exploring the repair suitability and long-term stability of different types of adhesives is helpful for a deep understanding of the possible problems of adhesives in storage and for identifying adhesives with excellent performance in conservation practice. Based on five kinds of adhesives commonly used in the practice of paper conservation, this study comprehensively evaluates their intervention degree, ageing resistance and reversibility with the principles of archival restoration as the judging criteria. The results showed that, compared with pressure-sensitive adhesives and solid glue, wheat starch paste did not change the original shape, color, or pH value of paper archives, and showed good stability in ageing tests, and it was easy to peel off after being humidified. It was proved to be the most suitable adhesive for repairing paper archives, providing an important reference for the selection of repair materials and the removal of adhesives.
